We thank Linda and Barb Griffith of Belmar Shellties for allowing this beautiful boy to come to Laurelen. He gets prettier with every year he matures. Ricky has
superb movement and exceptional structure, which he is passing on to his offspring. He has several in the show ring at the present time, from limited breedings . Ricky has three finished CH, four major pointed , and offspring with several points. All three of his kids that were entered in the Nationals in 2003, made the cut in huge classes. In 2005 , Ricky sons both made cuts, and in 2006, his CH son, Brett, made it to the final cut in BOB class. We are very proud of Ricky's success as a sire. He has a couple of litters of young puppies right now, that show great prospect, also. In November 2004, one of the thrills of the show ring occured! Ricky was taken to his Championship by our granddaughter, Lauren, who was 12 years old. Lauren had handled him to his first major just two and a half months before that! We had gotten quite discouraged after many broken majors, and then, much to our surprise Ricky's special time had come, and his handler did a superb job! He finished with a four point major, and we are very proud of both of them!
News Flash.... Ricky's son , Brett, WON a large quality packed stud dog class at the 2009 ASSA National..
The producing capability carries on another generation!
